This section of Rice Creek is so pretty, and I'm glad I was introduced to it through Twin Cities Kayaking. Highly recommend this rental service and taking a trip on Rice Creek. I like to leave my bike at the end-point since there is a nice bike trail to take you back to your car after your paddle. Saw eagles, osprey and herons!

I enjoyed a nice kayak trip down Rice Creek yesterday morning. The kayaks are very nice, clean and well maintained. John the owner is easy to work with, accommodating and gives great instructions. Whether it’s your first time or you’re experienced you are in great hands with John. Such a great time to get out and enjoy nature while also social distancing. Couldn’t recommend more!

The Rum River is beautiful, and this section is fun and easy to paddle. You can also stop to picnic and swim. I always see lots of wildlife, even paddled past a trumpeter swan. Highly recommend taking this trip!
